Orange County Trust Company Hosts Seminar for Local Attorneys on Art As An Investment and Trust & Estate Services
MIDDLETOWN, NY - Louis Salerno, a long time local businessman and owner of Questroyal Fine Art, LLC., a leading American art gallery on Park Avenue in New York City, was the guest speaker at a recent seminar for local attorneys hosted by Orange County Trust Company. Mr. Salerno offered advice for attorneys who have clients with art assets. He discussed art as an investment, the various types of paintings that hold value and the emotional connection to art that makes it somewhat recession resistant. Mr. Salerno also discussed the overall state of the national and international art markets.
Timothy McCausland, VP of Orange County Trust introduced a new service from the Bank's Trust and Investment Division. The Bank will offer its capabilities as a professional fiduciary for the outsourced administration of trusts and estates. Geared for attorneys, accountants and individual fiduciaries, this service, offered at an hourly rate, is designed to free legal and accounting professionals from the time consuming nature of trust and estate administration. The event was held in the Bank's Community Room at their Chester Branch. It is a newly renovated space on the second floor of the historic branch building. It is being used for Bank events and is available by reservation for complimentary use by local not-for-profit organizations for meetings, conferences or seminars.
